Girls using boku. I thought I remember reading in every book on Japanese that boku is for boys or is boyish, but it seems even the girliest of girls will use it. Do they use it to make a statement or something? Like some kind of feminist thing? I hear Ayumi Hamasaki use it constantly in her music, and many other female artists as well. And Ayu does have a number of feminist/girl power songs (my name's WOMEN, Real Me), so that's why I'm wondering if her using it has something to do with that.

Hey ladies. I need quite a few suggestions.
1. i need a toner. my skin is acne prone...kind of dry.
2. i am half black, half white, with frizzzyyyyyyyyyyy curly hair. i need: hairspray, a gel or cream for after i straighten my hair (i do it with a flat iron. no blow drying), any kind of defrizzer for when my hair is curly or straight, shampoo and conditioner. i need the strongest products! im moving to florida (humidty central!) soon. i dont know if i'll ever be able to straighten my hair down there! any tips are welcome.
3. i shed like no ones business. anything i can do/use?
i prefer products that i can get at CVS or the body shop. easiest for me to get to.
